UbiChan Makes Its Debut as AI Ambassador at Taiwan Expo in Japan 2026, Showcasing AI Character Agent Applications for International Exhibitions

TOKYO, July 2026 – Taiwan Expo in Japan 2026 was held from July 15 to 17 at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza in Tokyo. Ubitus debuted its AI character UbiChan as the official AI Ambassador for the exhibition, providing intelligent guidance and interactive services at both the registration area and the Smart City Pavilion, demonstrating the innovative application of AI Character Agents in international exhibitions.
Throughout the exhibition, UbiChan offered booth information search, exhibit recommendations, AI-powered Q&A, and interactive photo experiences at the registration area and Smart City Pavilion Booth EB32, helping visitors quickly access exhibition information while creating a more intuitive and engaging visitor experience.
On the opening day, distinguished guests including Minister without Portfolio Kung Ming-Hsin (center), Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative to Japan Lee I-Yang (right), and Director General Chiu Chiu-Hui of the Industrial Development Administration (left) visited the Smart City Pavilion and interacted with UbiChan, making it one of the exhibition highlights. On the second day of the exhibition, Ubitus was also invited to present at the “AI Driven, Digital Unlimited” Taiwan Smart Technology Applications Forum, where the company introduced the Ubitus brand and shared its latest AI innovations and application achievements.
Supporting Chinese, Japanese, and English real-time conversations, UbiChan attracted visitors from Japan and around the world. Through natural conversations, intelligent guidance, and friendly interactions, UbiChan received enthusiastic responses from attendees while demonstrating the value of AI Characters in multilingual reception, brand engagement, and exhibition services.
