Ubitus Showcases a New AI Agent Model for Smart Healthcare at Medical Taiwan

Through its AI Agent × Physical AI collaboration framework, Ubitus demonstrated a complete service workflow—from understanding user needs and planning tasks to executing actions in the physical world—attracting healthcare institutions, industry partners, and professionals from across the sector.

AI Virtual Nurse × Smart Robotics: A New Model for Healthcare Services

Under the theme of a “Smart Hospital,” Ubitus created an immersive healthcare environment featuring an AI Virtual Nurse and an AI-powered Autonomous Mobile Robot (AI AMR) working together to deliver intelligent healthcare services.

The AI Virtual Nurse combines generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and multilingual voice interaction technologies to provide appointment assistance, hospital navigation, and health education support. Meanwhile, the AI AMR is equipped with autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance capabilities, enabling it to perform indoor wayfinding and material transportation tasks.

Through the collaboration of the virtual nurse and mobile robot, Ubitus demonstrated how AI Agents can understand user requests, plan tasks accordingly, and drive robotic systems to execute actions in the physical environment, creating a complete closed-loop experience from conversation to action.

Immersive Smart Hospital Experience

During the exhibition, Ubitus recreated a simulated hospital environment, allowing visitors to experience a complete service journey—from registration and navigation to medication pickup.

When users interacted with the AI Virtual Nurse, the system could instantly analyze intent and generate corresponding tasks, such as guiding patients to registration counters or pharmacies. The robot would then perform navigation or material delivery tasks, demonstrating real-time collaboration between AI Agents and intelligent robotics.

Visitors also had the opportunity to interact directly with both the AI Virtual Nurse and the robot, experiencing a new service model that combines generative AI with physical robotics and gaining insights into the practical applications of AI in healthcare settings.

Accelerating AI Adoption from Healthcare to Public Services

Beyond technology demonstrations, Ubitus also shared implementation experiences and smart healthcare success stories developed in collaboration with healthcare organizations. The company highlighted how virtual humans and intelligent robots can help optimize service workflows, enhance user experiences, and increase the flexibility of smart services.
